Dragon Training Tips

A childhood friend of mine and her family recently won the "How Would You Train Your Dragon" video contest!  Here's a link to the video on YouTube:  How We Train Our Dragon (David de Vos).  This certainly made me feel grateful that we've only had to train a dog. (Especially now that she's older and has become deaf.)

Congrats to the de Vos family!

Post script to this: I showed this to my 6 and 8 year old. I thought it was cute and funny, but Thing 2 went into hysterics. This surprised me, because she watches all kinds of animated movies without batting an eyelash, and Thing 1 is usually the one that gets scared. Go figure.

What do I think of spinning?

I keep not consuming enough calories before class and end up low on blood sugar, curled in a ball on my kitchen floor. The solution is going to be eating approximately 300 calories extra 90mins before class to see if that helps. I don't know how many calories class actually burns, but I figure this may help. The last few times I have had betwene 700-850 calories before class and its just a bad scene within 90mins of class ended.

I love the classes themselves as I find myself cursing from the effort :)
